What should I wear to the wedding?
Dress code: Cocktail
Think polished and celebration-ready. For example: shirts with chinos or dress pants, cocktail or midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or similar. No need for full suits or floor-length gowns, but we’d love everyone to avoid overly casual attire. Absolutely no demin.
Will you be accepting gifts?
Unequivocally no. We know attending an overseas wedding is already a significant commitment of time, travel, and expense, and your presence truly means more to us than anything else (pardon the cliché).
What is planned the day after the wedding?
You are more than welcome to join us for a post-wedding brunch however, please note that outbound ferries are infrequent and the evening ferry is often cancelled due to lack of passengers. We recommend the morning ferry if you intend to leave the day after the wedding.
Can I take photos during the wedding ceremony?
We would prefer our guests fully immerse themselves in the beautiful Grecian atmosphere by remaining unplugged during the ceremony. However, there will be plenty of opportunities to take photos before and after.
Is tipping expected in Greece?
Tipping is not mandatory in Greece but rounding up the bill is a common and appreciated gesture for good service.
Should I bring cash to Skopelos?
While cards are widely accepted on the island, cash is recommended for smaller purchases and local tavernas.
Are there emergency services on the island?
Yes, the Skopelos Health Centre is open 24/7 and provides primary and emergency care. They can be reached on 112 (European Emergency number)
